Apply for Homestead Rollback

XENIA — The Greene County Auditor is advising property owners who own and live in their home that they are entitled to the 2.5 percent Homestead Rollback.
An application for the rollback is available at www.co.greene.oh.us. Fill in the form, print it out and mail it to the auditor's office. Applications must be in the auditor's office by June 1.
Also, the continuing Homestead Exemption Applications have been mailed to all who were on the system for the 2008 tax year, payable in 2009. New owners or those who have transferred or sold their property will need to file for the new property.
Applications for the exemption are also due to the auditor's office by June 1. They should be filled out in person.
Finally, for farmland that is priced through the Current Agricultural Use Value, applications have been mailed for the 2009 tax year, applicable for payment in 2010. Those who did not receive the renewal application should call (937) 562-5072 or (937) 562-5073.
