January 16 Potluck/Talk by museum curator of "American I AM," Dr. John Fleming

Dr. John Fleming, noted museum curator for African-American museum exhibits, and co-creator with Tavis Smiley of the "American I AM" major traveling exhibit on American black experiencewill speak and show slide images about the creation of "American I AM" at 12:35 pm Thursday, January 16, in the Great Room of the Yellow Springs Senior Center, 227 Xenia Avenue, Yellow Springs, Ohio.
Please join in the potluck lunch at 12:00 noon, or if you prefer not to participate in the potluck meal, come at 12:30 for the talk.
This program is a particular privilege for the Senior Center to be able to present, and I request that you invite your friends, and come and help the Senior Center celebrate in advance the upcoming Martin Luther King, Jr., Day national holiday.
Come one, come all. This program is sure to be an interesting, behind the scenes view of researching, accumulating historical items, and mounting a major traveling educational exhibit on an essential part of American life and history.
