The search for a new Executive Director of the Senior Center is underway. The following persons have volunteered to be part of a Search Committee: Anna Hogarty and Ken Huber, Co-chairs, Andre Bognar, Barbara Brookshire, Mark Crockett, Sue Miller, and Mary M. Morgan.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JOB SUMMARY: Leadership position (3/4 time) for Yellow Springs Senior Center. Responsible for ensuring that programs and activities further the mission of the Senior Center; for administration of all aspects of operations; for program development; for fiscal integrity; for securing the long term effectiveness of the Senior Center through planning and ongoing development of financial and organizational resources; and for representing the Senior Center in the community.
QUALIFICATIONS: Necessary skill areas include effective communication, management, fiscal oversight, computer literacy, organizational development, grant writing, fund raising, long-range planning, and ability to relate to diverse populations, particularly older persons.
