Especially for Seniors at Clifton Opera House

The Springfield Senior Chorus will perform at the Clifton Opera House on Friday, Sept 21st at 1:30 p.m.  It is a program by Seniors for Seniors but the general public is invited.  Suggested donation is $5.

Free Movie September 19 at Center

 The movie, "All Passion Spent" ,a popular mini-TV series based on the novel of the same name, by Vita Sackville-West,  will be shown in The Great Room on Wednesday, Sept. 19th at 4 p.m.  Everybody welcome.  On Saturday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m. the movie will be discussed at the Older and Bolder meeting in the Gallery room.  Come for the discussion of  how one woman takes surprising charge of her life in her "later years" even if you haven't seen the movie.

Movie September 19 / Older & Bolder September 22

The Senior Center will offer a free presentation open to all of a special movie on Wednesday, September 19 at 4:00 p.m. in the Great Room. "All Passion Spent", starring Dame Wendy Hiller, based on a famous novel by Vita Sackville-West, is about an unusual view of "being old". For more information call Christine at 202-548-8553.

The following Saturday, September 22, at 10:00 a.m. in the Gallery, the Older & Bolder group will hold a discussion about the movie, open to all (even if you haven't read the book or seen the movie).
