Senior Center Seeks New Executive Director

The search for a new Executive Director of the Senior Center is underway. The following persons have volunteered to be part of a Search Committee: Anna Hogarty and Ken Huber, Co-chairs, Andre Bognar, Barbara Brookshire, Mark Crockett, Sue Miller, and Mary M. Morgan.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JOB SUMMARY: Leadership position (3/4 time) for Yellow Springs Senior Center. Responsible for ensuring that programs and activities further the mission of the Senior Center; for administration of all aspects of operations; for program development; for fiscal integrity; for securing the long term effectiveness of the Senior Center through planning and ongoing development of financial and organizational resources; and for representing the Senior Center in the community.

QUALIFICATIONS: Necessary skill areas include effective communication, management, fiscal oversight, computer literacy, organizational development, grant writing, fund raising, long-range planning, and ability to relate to diverse populations, particularly older persons. Cotton Fabric Wanted

The Friday afternoon quilting class at the Senior Center is looking for donations of cotton fabric to make into items for sale to raise money for the Center.
