Older and Bolder for August 25

The Older and Bolder Group will meet August 25th, Saturday, 10 am-11:30 am in the Gallery Room at the Senior Center. The focus will be on "Care at Life's End, Regardless of Age".

Since the first try was so successful, we will again use the "prompt" cards, which were developed by a cooperative association in California of both professional and lay workers in the field of elder care. Each card contains only one or a few words, reference ideas and service that we usually don't want to think about or would be embarrassed to bring up as "personal concerns". Because the cards are drawn unseen it removes the participant from the responsibility of claiming it. It is a very "freeing" technique. We also have expanded the subject to include the unexpected death that can happen at any age, since decisions then can sometimes be hurriedly made without previous plans or second thoughts.

All are welcome to attend. Please allow time to find the scarce parking space.
